Any cancellation of activities on the website will be carried out in accordance with these regulations.
Cancellation of services
Anyone who purchases an activity on the website is entitled to cancel the transaction in accordance with the Israeli Customer Protection Law (1981). Following is a summary of principles of the cancellation rules, while the full and binding cancellation rules are the ones that are enumerated in the Israeli Customer Protection Law (1981), and they are the binding ones.
An individual who purchases a service (any activity that is paid for including an online course / workshop / study day / session / online seminar / seminar in Israel) is entitled to cancel the purchase within fourteen days from the day of performing the transaction or from the day of receiving the document that contains the details mentioned in clause 14c(b) of Customer Protection Law, according to whichever one is later and according to what is stated in these regulations and with reference to the attached chart.
Consequences of the cancellation due to a discrepancy:
In the case of cancellation due to a discrepancy between the service and the details that were given to the purchaser concerning the service or due to the failure to provide the service at the set time or any other infringement of the conditions of the contract ("discrepancy
"), the purchaser of the service is entitled to submit a request to MOFET for the cancellation of the transaction. Once the said request has been submitted and MOFET has determined that the said discrepancy indeed occurred, The MOFET Institute will return, within fourteen days of receiving the cancellation request, the same proportion of the price of the transaction that was paid, cancel the charges for the transaction, deliver to the purchaser a copy of the notice of cancellation of said charges, and will not charge any cancellation fees.
Without derogating from the above, in a case where the cancelled transaction is an ongoing transaction (as defined by the Customer Protection Law) for which the provision of the service has already commenced, the purchaser will be charged proportionately for the service rendered prior to the time of the cancellation.
Changes and cancellations – general instructions
Requests for changes in registration or cancellations will be directed solely to the Secretariat of the MOFET's International Channel. The time when the written request for changing or cancelling registration is received in the offices of The MOFET Institute is the time that determines the extent of the refund. The refund will be carried out within 14 days of the time of cancellation of registration.
The coordinator of the International Channel will inform the purchaser (by email or telephone) that the request for changing/postponing/cancelling and a refund (if required) was processed as soon as it arrived. At the end of the process, he will send the purchaser a letter with all the details of the decision.
A purchaser who wishes to postpone an activity to another time or exchange an activity (after remitting his/her payment) will inform the coordinator of the International Channel of this in writing, in a letter, a fax, or an email.
The postponement or exchange of an activity does not grant a refund of the registration fees or payment for the activity. The coordinator of the International Channel will be responsible for the refunding or charging of the purchaser in case of an exchange.
The postponement or exchange of an activity for the second time has to be authorized by an exceptions committee.

The money will be refunded to the purchaser by check or by credit card at the discretion of The MOFET Institute.
